SEGi Pharmacy Students Shine at the MyPSA National Pharmacy Sport Carnival

Bachelor of Pharmacy students from SEGi University took part in the 18th MyPSA National Pharmacy Sport Carnival (NPSC) on 12 September 2025, joining pharmacy students from 21 universities across Malaysia in a celebration of athletic talent, teamwork, and community spirit. Hosted at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia’s Bangi Campus, the event brought together more than 250 participants under the inspiring theme “Pharmacy Hawks Soar Beyond the Horizon.”

For SEGi University, the NPSC was more than a sporting event. It was an opportunity for future pharmacists to engage beyond the classroom, strengthen bonds across institutions, and embody the values that define the profession — resilience, discipline, and unity.

Among the highlights was an impressive achievement by Bachelor of Pharmacy student Mr Rafli Adianshah, who secured second runner-up in the 400 metre race. His performance demonstrated not only personal commitment and athletic capability, but also SEGi’s belief in nurturing well-rounded individuals who excel holistically, academically and beyond.

The carnival also created space for students to connect, collaborate, and celebrate one another’s strengths. Through track and field events, team sports, and shared experiences, NPSC reinforced the importance of balance and well-being in a demanding field like pharmacy. It reminded students that health is multifaceted — physical, emotional, and communal.

SEGi University is proud of the students who represented the university with dedication, professionalism, and enthusiasm. Their participation reflects SEGi’s ongoing support for student-led initiatives and its recognition of the vital role extracurricular activities play in shaping confident, capable, and well-rounded pharmacy graduates.

The university extends its warmest congratulations to Rafli and all participating students for their contributions to this national gathering of pharmacy talent.
