Students from the Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours programme at SEGi University recently embarked on an educational trip to the Malaysia International Construction & Infrastructure Technology Exhibition (MBAM OneBuild) on 29 August 2024, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. This half-day visit was designed to enhance their learning and provide exposure to the latest advancements in the construction and infrastructure sectors. The trip forms part of SEGi University’s commitment to sustainability, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to promote resilient infrastructure, inclusive industrialisation, and innovation.
During the exhibition, students explored the newest technologies, products, and solutions currently shaping the construction industry. This hands-on experience is invaluable to their academic and professional development, bridging the gap between theory and real-world applications. They gained practical insights into innovations that will play a crucial role in their future careers, particularly in a field as rapidly evolving as Civil Engineering.
