Dr Fazliny Abdul Rahman has marked a momentous year, achieving groundbreaking milestones for herself and the Faculty of Dentistry at SEGi University.
Her pioneering research collaboration with NiSCELL, Malaysia’s first cell therapy company specialising in stem cells and immunotherapy, is a testament to her commitment to innovation. The project, titled ‘Potential Role of Dental Pulp Stem Cells Conditioned Medium (DPSC-CM) for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Neuronal Regeneration of Dental Pulp Stem Cells,’ explores the potential of stem cell applications in transformative therapies.
As the principal investigator, Dr Fazliny is leading this groundbreaking initiative in collaboration with a NiSCELL researcher. NiSCELL’s substantial investment of RM150,000 underscores their confidence in this project’s potential impact. This partnership is further strengthened by an upcoming memorandum of understanding (MoU) between SEGi University and NiSCELL, paving the way for long-term collaboration.
