On 5 April 2024, SEGi showcased its commitment to social responsibility and community engagement by organising a bubur lambuk cooking event to support Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2: Zero Hunger. Led by the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, this initiative brought together staff from various departments to prepare the traditional Malaysian porridge.
The collaborative effort resulted in a heartwarming display of unity and compassion, as staff members worked hand in hand to create delicious bubur lambuk infused with aromatic spices. This act of kindness not only addressed food insecurity but also strengthened bonds and fostered a sense of solidarity among participants.
