Pelajar kembali dari lawatan sambil belajar Singapura dengan perspektif dan pandangan baharu tentang pelancongan bandar

SEGi College Penang BSc International Tourism and Hospitality Management students recently returned from a study visit to Singapore, where they investigated the city-history, state’s economy, and culture as part of their Urban Tourism assessment. On their first day, the students visited iconic landmarks such as Jewel Changi Airport, Merlion Park, and Marina Bay Sands. The next day, they went to the Singapore City Gallery, which depicts the country’s evolution from a small fishing village to a modern metropolis. The students learned a lot about Singapore’s urban planning and development strategies, as well as the public’s perception of the built environment.

The students had the option of visiting Resort City, which includes attractions such as Universal Studio Singapore, Madame Tussauds Singapore, and ‘S.E.A Aquarium, or Heritage City, which includes Chinatown, Haji Lane, and Bugis Street, among others, on the final day of their trip. Before departing for Penang, the students conducted their final observations and interviews on Orchard Road and Fort Canning.
