透过老鼠研究人类疾病
在医学科技实验室里,主要研究的范围包括临床生物化学、医学微生物学、医学寄生虫学、血液学、免疫血液学、细胞学、组织病理学等。由于老鼠与人类的生理及基因与人类非常相似,所以在这些研究中扮演了至关重要的角色。尽管人类和老鼠从生物学上来说确实是不同物种,然而其中的相似性却让学生从强大且多功能的哺乳动物系统,来识别与人类有关的疾病。 动物研究一般上用于解决与疾病进展,或整个生命系统的其他生物机制相关的复杂问题。若以人体进行上述实验确实是不道德,况且技术上不允许。而大鼠约占了所有恒温实验动物的95%,其贡献帮助学生寻求有关人类细胞、组织和器官问题的答案。 阅读全文,请点击 https://bit.ly/3Ys3gFO 。
