DR. LEONG MI-CHELLE

Dr. Leong Mi-Chelle has a distinguished career spanning nearly two decades within the realm of education. Her expertise lies in curriculum development, specialising in the design and implementation of academic programmes. Driven by an unwavering passion for enhancing global educational standards, Dr. Leong has fostered partnerships with international institutions to facilitate several cross-institutional academic and non-academic initiatives.

She holds a Doctor of Education (Educational Technology and Multimedia) from Universiti Sains Malaysia, where her research focused on the influence of online course experience on deep learning and Academic English achievement among Malaysian private college students. Her study explored how effective online learning environments and course design can enhance learner engagement and academic outcomes — reflecting her strong advocacy for technology-enhanced education.

In addition, Dr. Leong holds a Master of Arts in Linguistics and English Language Studies and the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (CIDTT), qualifying her to impart pedagogical knowledge to fellow educators. She also holds the distinction of being an accredited HRD Corp trainer.
