SEGi’s blood-drive hits the mark: a life-saving success

SEGi College Kuala Lumpur had a incredible successful blood-donation drive, an event held to raise awareness about blood donation, educate the public about its significance, and highlight the ongoing impact of regular donations on countless individuals and patients in need.

Faculty members, Mohamad Hidayat Mohammad Isa and Jayatheswary Parnealsivam, in collaboration with the local largest centralised blood bank, the Pusat Darah Negara (PDN), successfully set up a well-organised donation centre on campus.

Trained medical professionals were present throughout the day, ensuring a safe and comfortable donation process for each participant. The atmosphere buzzed with a sense of purpose and unity, as individuals from all walks of life united in their commitment to give the gift of life.

Volunteer donors received valuable information about blood types, including learning their own during a thorough eligibility examination and explanation of the donation process.
