Global collaboration in education is shaping the future of engineering, and SEGi University continues to lead the way. Two distinguished lecturers, Ts. Anis Fariza binti Md Pazil and Ms. Noor Farhana Halil binti Abdul Razak from the Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Honours programme conducted a transformative teaching exchange at Pingdingshan Industrial College of Technology, Henan, China. This initiative exemplifies the university’s commitment to advancing knowledge beyond borders, fostering a culture of academic excellence and international engagement.
The programme provided an enriching learning experience for 100 Year 1 and Year 2 students, blending cutting-edge theoretical knowledge with hands-on applications. With global industries evolving rapidly, engineering education must align with industry needs. Studies indicate that 75% of employers prioritise graduates with international exposure and cross-cultural competencies (source: World Economic Forum). By bringing its industry-focused curriculum to China, SEGi ensures that students gain real-world insights essential for career success.
