Young changemakers, educators, government officials, and members of the public gathered on 3 August 2025 for a powerful Environmental Concert themed “End Plastic Pollution by 2040”, co-organised by ASEZ WAO (Save the Earth from A to Z – We Are One) and SEGi University. Held at Auditorium A, the event seamlessly blended culture, education, and advocacy to inspire urgent environmental action.
The goal was clear: raise awareness and strengthen collective commitment to tackling plastic pollution — a crisis that has escalated into one of the planet’s most pressing threats. According to the United Nations, the world produces over 430 million tonnes of plastic annually, with two-thirds being short-lived products that quickly become waste. Without intervention, plastic in oceans is expected to triple by 2040.
