This Partnership Is Turning Hospitality Students Into Industry Insiders

On Good Friday, 29 March 2025, SEGi marked a significant step forward in academic-industry collaboration by formalising a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Millen Penang, Autograph Collection. Held at the college’s main lobby, the MOU signing ceremony was graced by Principal Leong Mi-Chelle and witnessed by Programme Leader Lee Chin Ching. Representing The Millen were Human Resource Manager Jujue Masrita Azura and Learning and Development Manager Mohamad Iqbal.

To symbolise the beginning of this meaningful collaboration, both parties participated in a special “Breaking the Easter Egg” ceremony—an act celebrating renewal, partnership, and growth. The event reflected the spirit of Good Friday while anchoring a future-focused commitment to hospitality education through real-world integration.
