SEGi University continues to set the benchmark in experiential learning with a recent study tour to the renowned Gardenia Factory in Shah Alam. Led by esteemed faculty members Dilashenyi Devi and Dr Sudhashini Nair from the Faculty of Business, Accounting & Law, this visit provided students with an invaluable opportunity to witness real-world business operations in action.
Bridging the gap between theory and practice, the study tour offered firsthand exposure to essential business concepts such as supply chain management, production efficiency, and corporate governance. With Gardenia producing over 2 million loaves of bread daily to meet market demands, students observed the complexities of high-volume production, quality control, and logistics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on experience reinforced classroom learning and deepened their understanding of operational efficiency.
