SEGi is set to make a significant impact at the upcoming Waste to Wonder 2.0 event on July 27 & 28 at 1st Avenue, where eco-consciousness and creativity will come together in an extraordinary celebration. The event promises to be a vibrant showcase of sustainable innovation, featuring hands-on workshops, dynamic panel discussions, and a bustling marketplace filled with eco-friendly vendors. What makes this event particularly special is the active participation of SEGi students, who are dedicated to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goals 4, 7, and 8.
SEGi’s involvement in Waste to Wonder 2.0 underscores its commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable education. The college will also take a significant step in its sustainability journey by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to become one of the region’s e-waste collection centres. This initiative aligns with the college’s dedication to fostering an inclusive and equitable quality education (SDG 4), promoting sustainable economic growth and decent work (SDG 8), and ensuring access to affordable and sustainable energy (SDG 7).
This event is organised in support of the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG):
- SDG 4 (Quality Education)
- SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy)
- SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth)
