SEGi University made a powerful impression at the National Dental Intervarsity Games (NDIVG) 2025, bringing home an impressive nine medals – three Golds, two Silvers, and four Bronzes. Held from 18–20 April at Universiti Malaya and organised by the Malaysian Dental Students’ Association (MDSA), this prestigious event gathered the best from dental schools across Malaysia to compete in a range of athletic disciplines. For SEGi’s delegation, it wasn’t just about competition — it was about resilience, teamwork, and pushing personal boundaries.
SEGi’s Gold medal moments included standout performances in Women’s Badminton Singles by Maria Ngor Zhuang Zhi, Women’s 800m Track by Yap Yi Van, and a dominant team win in Dodgeball, with a fierce lineup featuring Tan Sei Jun, Luqman Hakeem, Bavan Saankkar, and others who delivered energy, speed, and synergy. Notably, Maria Ngor not only clinched Gold but also contributed to a Bronze in Women’s Doubles alongside Lim Zi Xin, who also captained the SEGi team.
