A highlight of this field trip is the exclusive visit to Crockfords Hotel, hailed as the epitome of luxury in Genting Highlands. Mr. Edmund Chin, the Crockfords Club Director, graciously hosted the visit, providing students with a firsthand glimpse into the opulent world of high-end hospitality and hotel management.
Further enriching the students’ exposure was a visit to the largest laundry operation in Malaysia, situated at First World Genting Hotel. This component aimed to deepen their understanding of the luxurious segment of the tourism industry, offering insights into the intricate behind-the-scenes operations of upscale hotels.
The rendezvous with Resort World Genting added a layer of excitement to the field trip. Students were treated as VIP guests, exploring the thrills of SkyWorld Theme Park and gaining invaluable insights from short briefings by F&B outlet managers. The hospitality industry unfolded before them, offering a firsthand understanding of operational dynamics and potential career pathways.
