Numerous non-governmental organizations and private companies gathered at the Association of Churches in Sarawak (ACS) for the Kuching Autistic Association (KAA) Food Fair Fundraising 2024 event. This vibrant community effort aimed to raise funds for KAA’s annual operational costs of RM1.2 million and other essential needs. Among the 10 helpers were dedicated members from SEGi College Sarawak’s Leo Club, St. Joseph’s Private School, and the Lions Club of Kota Sentosa, all contributing to the event’s success.
The event, which ran from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, was marked by the presence of distinguished guests, including Yang Berhormat Datuk Amar Prof. Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Deputy Premier of Sarawak and the territory’s Minister of Public Health, Housing, and Local Government, and YB Billy Sujang (GPS). During their visit, they presented a certificate of appreciation at the SEGi food stall, highlighting all participants’ collaborative spirit and dedication.
