In response to the escalating threat of scams in contemporary society, SEGi University has taken proactive measures to combat this pervasive issue. Partnering with Sunstrong Entertainment, SEGi’s School of Communications & Creative Design (SoCCD) has initiated a groundbreaking Short Film Competition aimed at heightening awareness about scams.
Named “Unveiling Hidden Gems: A Short Film Competition for Empowering Scam Awareness”, this competition represents a significant step towards shedding light on the deceptive tactics employed by scammers. Led by a team of creative design students from SoCCD, including Greg, Tyra, Saad, Renee, and Keesha, participants have produced an impactful film titled “Think Twice Before You Do,” which delves deep into the intricacies of various scams.
