Programme Overview
With the diploma in early childhood as the minimum requirement for those working in kindergartens, the discerning practitioner will want to stand out in the crowd. Designed with employability in mind, our degree is a practical programme, which requires students to be in placement at least twice a week. The degree is developed by an experienced team of academics and industry professionals from the University of Greenwich, which has a long tradition of training teachers. It is delivered by the SEGi team with strong industry experience, who are able to place this international programme within the local context.
This degree in Early Years Education will give you an understanding of the core values of the early year’s workforce. You will study cognition, health and wellbeing, review practice and policy, and learn the importance of encouraging a child’s development in partnership with their family. The ultimate goal of this degree is to develop agents of change, confident in leading the workforce to create a better future for the next generation.
