Course Overview
Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) deals with all aspects of safety and health in the workplace and its primary focus is the prevention of hazards at the workplace. Its goal is to prevent accidents that would harm people from work-related activities.
The Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health is designed to produce graduates who are academically qualified to become competent Occupational Safety and Health Practitioners. Graduates will be equipped with technical, problem-solving, and scientific skills in the management of OSH at workplace. Graduates will be expected to demonstrate commitment on safe work culture to the employees at the workplace as well as to the community with professional attitudes, ethical conducts, and social responsibilities.
Entry requirements
SPM with pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with minimum 3 credits including Mathematics and any Science subjects
O-Level / UEC with pass in Bahasa Malaysia or English and 3 credits including Mathematics and Science
Related SKM Level 3
Certificate related to Health Sciences with minimum CGPA 2.50
